Month Review: March 2026

Good lord, March went by so fast.

March has been a mixed bag for me. Ramadan went by pretty quickly, mainly because of Daylight Savings. I've been working two jobs (one is on a contract and the other is my part-time job) which had been keeping me busy. The contract position is going to end this month or the next, so I have to find something else again. I'm not even gonna comment on the state of the job market again. It's genuinely awful for everybody job-hunting right now.

Social Media Activity

In my now-removed blogpost, I had a mild crashout over my social media use and existential dread. I am doing a little better now, but I still want to limit my time on Bluesky for my own peace of mind. I'm not active on Twitter anymore outside of peeking in on my mutuals and then blipping back out, but I have let everyone there know that I am always up for a chat on Discord or wherever else I'm usually active.

Putting work in developing this website has been the most rewarding thing I have done in a while. It has pretty much become my little corner to relax in whenever I feel social media is making me irritable again.

Daydrinking Jam Stuff

What's really funny is that I have never taken a sip of alcohol in my life. I'm still working on developing Sanguine Sunrise with my friend. I feel less high-strung about the development process than I was with Hoarfrost Wires because I was doing all of it by myself, so I had the mindset of 'Omg I have to get all of this done super early or I'll explode'.

Things are coming along, though. I'm really excited to see the other entries as well!

Toys

On the media front, I've mainly been catching up on games while we collectively wait for Deltarune chapters to release (hopefully this summer, I'm begging).

I officially collected all of the Angels of Delusion (I'm including Yuzuha). Their playstyle is so fun, I love watching them stomp on enemies together. ReDreaming Angel is definitely Song of the Year for me right now.

I've also been having a lot of fun with Planarcadia, and I'm definitely going to be rolling for Pearl when her banner comes out. Being mermaid-themed and voiced by Yeo Yoon-Mi (Kokomi's and Araya's VA) was literal bait for me.

Speaking of, I'm also really excited for the Bad End Ryoshu Identity. I'm semi-excited for the Intervallo, but my enthuisiam over Canto 10 itself is really tempered right now, solely due to the themes they're going for and me not trusting this playerbase to be remotely mature about these topics. I'm still planning on re-reading The Stranger, though.

For manga, after Chainsaw Man part 2 ended, which I already discussed in my Media Log, I only have Gachiakuta, Hikaru, and Witch Hat to read now. I've been watching a lot of anime, but ngl I've been procrastinating on finishing Gundam 0079.

My Media Log for 2026 is probably going to be really fucking long by December lol.
